Healthcare assistants support practice nurses with their daily work and carry out tasks such as phlebotomy (drawing blood), blood pressure measurement and new patient checks. They may act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.

The practice has health visitors allocated to them via South Essex Partnership Trust (SEPT). They are qualified nurses with specialist training in child health, health promotion and health education. They are accessible to all the practice population but particularly to families with young children.
Child Health Clinics are run on the first and third Mondays or every month, with the exception of Bank Holidays, from 13:45 to 15:45 at the Bromham village hall.
The Health Visitors are available by appointment only.

Midwife clinics are run by Karen Nelson at the surgery. Please contact reception for appointments.
The midwifery team provides support and advice throughout pregnancy and the postnatal period. They will share the antenatal care with the doctors at the surgery.
