Patients over the age of three years needing same day consultations with any of the following symptoms can be seen by The Village Medical Centre’s doctors, nurses and healthcare team.

• Asthma
• Back pain
• Bites and stings
• Burns
• Colds and flu
• Constipation
• Chronic obstruction airways disease
• Coughs
• Diabetes
• Diarrhoea / vomiting
• Earache / discharge
• Emergency contraception
• Eye Infection / soreness
• Fever
• Haemorrhoids
• Skin infections
• Sore throat
• Styes
• Upper respiratory tract infections
• Urinary tract infections / cystitis
• Wounds

There are some exclusions, which will require a medical opinion from a doctor:

• Under three years of age
• Pregnant
• Severe chest pain or severe difficulty breathing
• Having convulsions
• Coughing / vomiting blood
• Sudden loss of sight
• Rashes
• Bleeding profusely from any orifice
• Patients who only want to see the doctor
